Gingham with a pop of colors

When I spotted this beautiful yellow handbag from Tory Burch, it was love at first sight. Why? Firstly, the design has a clean modern shape. Plus, the vibrant color makes it the perfect summer bag. The detachable chain strap gives it versatility so you can carry it as a clutch or a cross-body. It’s basically like having 2 bags in 1. I will use it all year long! Thanks to my husband who gave it to me for my 50th birthday. I’m in love —I mean with my husband. Athough, I REALLY like the bag.
This week, I decided to give my gingham pants my own spin and I paired them with two colors: a simple red scarf wrap à la Française around my neck and, of course, my new handbag.

    1. Oh, I know what you mean. It can be hard to style patterns, especially when trying to mix it with other patterns. My go-to approach with gingham is simple: I usually pair it with a solid color and tan or black shoes. If it’s a black and white gingham, I add a pop of color for a French Riviera vibe.
