What on EARTH is happening! Mother Nature has a funny sense of humor. In the past three weeks we had a lot of rain, snow storm, strong winds, very cold weather and then more April showers. No tree bloom or other signs of Spring yet. A heatwave is set over the UK for the weekend. I have an intense desire to fly over there! (I am not joking)
Since I am desperately in need of warm and color in my life right now, let’s have a look at the inspiring flower and critter pictures that have been hitting the spot for me this month.

This color palette evokes a Spring’ mood that’s kind of romantic….

Love Pentone’s color of the year. Purple is one of my favourite colors. I never thought I would wear a purple outfit almost from head to toe though. Way too scared to look like Barney! But life is about taking risks, right?

A polka dots raincoat is certainly not for the fainthearted. But is definitely on spot with my anticipation of Spring.

When worn with a transparent feminine blouse and kitty heels, a high-waist denim skirt take on the attitude of a French gamine but look more polished. Simply add some grown up gems, et voilà: très chic.
Look how this lovely flower below resembles the necklace I’m wearing. Darren has interesting information about this plant on his blog’s post.

Go for a vibrant coat! An impossible-to-ignore red coat is the mark of a real #girlboss. Style with similarly intense hues, such as ocher. It works.

Look at these legs! I mean those of the doe. They inspired me this outfit. And when I saw the little white spot on the doe’s neck… Well, I had to put on my choker.
From all of these pictures Lisa has created this amazing artwork below.
