The 21 Day Challenge of La Parisienne: my #ootd

Selon RECYC-Québec, chaque personne jette 24 kg de vêtements par an. Empilées, ces 190 000 tonnes de tissu formeraient une montagne de 55 m de hauteur, soit un immeuble de 18 étages! En réaction à la mode éphémère, La Parisienne a lancé en partenariat avec la chaîne de télé publique Radio-Canada le «Défi 21 jours», durant lequel les participants doivent créer des ensembles à partir de 10 pièces de vêtements. #defi21jourslaparisienne

L’objectif ? Sensibiliser les gens à adopter de meilleures habitudes en responsabilisant leur consommation. L’initiative s’inspire de la tendance simplifiée qui prône une garde-robe restreinte composée de quelques pièces sélectionnées avec minutie afin de pouvoir aisément les assortir et ainsi créer des ensembles stylés sans se casser la tête. Connue sous l’appellation anglophone «Capsule Wardrobe», cette approche incite à mieux consommer et permet d’économiser temps et argent.

Voilà un chic concept et pas seulement pour la planète! De plus, les participants courent la chance de gagner un voyage pour deux en Scandinavie, un prix d’une valeur de 10 000 dollars environ. Moi, j’embarque. J’ai précisément lancé mon blogue 3C Style avec ces valeurs en tête. Durant 21 jours consécutifs, je vais donc porter les mêmes 10 pièces de vêtements. Ouille! Heureusement, cela ne tient pas compte des accessoires comme les sacs à main, les bijoux, les chaussures et les manteaux. Ahhhh! Je devrais pouvoir m’en sortir. En fait, j’ai débuté le défi le 12 septembre dernier. Je partage avec vous cette semaine mes sept premiers ensembles.

The initiative is inspired by the simplified trend of a tight wardrobe consisting of a few carefully selected pieces so that they can easily be matched to create stylish sets without headaches. Known as the “Wardrobe Capsule”, this approach encourages better consumption and saves time and money.

This is a chic concept and not just for the planet! In addition, participants are given the chance to win a trip for two in Scandinavia, worth approximately $ 10,000. I’m in. I specifically launched my blog 3C Style with these values ​​in mind. For 21 consecutive days, I will wear the same 10 pieces of clothing. Ouch! Fortunately, this does not include accessories such as handbags, jewelry, shoes and coats. Ahhhh! I should be able to cope. In fact, I started the challenge on September 12th. As anyone notice that my tires were flat ? Of course, I had to blow them up before leaving. That’s how my day started. Oh well, it could have been worse. The rest of the day was fine though. / Avez-vous remarqué que les pneus de mon scooter étaient à plat ? Bien sûr, j’ai dû les gonfler avant de partir. C’est ainsi que ma journée a commencé. Ça aurait pu être pire. Le reste de la journée était plutôt agréable.
